Channels

Every volunteer on our team is added to 2 main Channels:

#creative-hq is for Bridge worship & production staff to post any team announcements, updates & reminders. Please keep this channel free from posts & replies in order to keep things clean & for our team to quickly find any announcements they might have missed. The reaction button is your best friend on this channel.

#creative-culture is for team celebrations, prayer requests, encouragement, videos, gifs, etc. This is a great source of connection for the volunteers on our team. Please refrain from promoting personal endeavors on this channel (businesses, fundraisers, etc)… if there’s something you think is worth posting (i.e. an adoption fund, meal train, etc) please message someone on leadership and ask beforehand! :)

You may be invited to join other channels as well! For example, if you’re serving on a Sunday team, you’ll be added to #columbiasunday or #springhillsunday for specific updates pertaining to Sunday’s team (we add/remove the scheduled personnel to these channels on a weekly basis, so don’t be upset when you’re removed!). Depending on your area of serving, you might also be added to channels like #electric-guitar, #drummers, #production and so on.

DM or @mentioned notifications

By default, you should receive notifications when you receive a direct message or someone mentions you - these are all good notifications! Complete the following steps to ensure these notifications are on:

• Tap the 3 dots in the top right corner of the mobile app

• Tap “settings”

• Tap “notifications”

• Choose “All new messages”

• Tap Notify Me on Mobile

• Choose "As quickly as possible”

Notifications

We understand you may not want to receive a notification for every comment made in the “#creative-culture” channel, but it is important you have notifications ON for other channels you’re invited to or you might miss updates (especially #creative-hq). Complete the following steps to adjust notifications for specific channels: 

   ** This must be done on each channel **

• Tap the channel name in the top left corner

• Tap Notifications

• Choose "All New Messages” or “Mentions or keywords”
